
The internal launch event for One was a fun-packed affair that, thankfully, ended without any broken bones or other serious injuries.
The new brand was unveiled to staff at One’s first company conference, held at the Chill Factore in Manchester.
After being introduced to the new logo, seeing how the new branding was being applied and learning about new company initiatives for 2010, the PR, advertising, digital and design teams were then let loose on the slopes.
Most people opted for the tube and the luge, although having seen the digital team ‘enjoying’ the same experience previously, courtesy of MadDogSki as a thanks for the work done on the company’s website, One Head of Digital Jonathan Ward managed to swing it so that he got a few runs on the ski slopes instead.
Given that his wedding was just three weeks away, Jon claimed it was better for him to ski than it was to risk life and limb on the luge, although most of those who watched proceedings from the Mont Blanc bar thought his skiing technique seemed to leave him in mortal danger anyway!
