When plus size lingerie and shapewear client Simply Yours wanted to boost its social media activity, creating a community of advocates, One's 'From Bra to Brief' lingerie design competition was the perfect fit.
Using a combination of blogs, emails, online PR and DM, together with the creation of a dedicated 'From Bra to Brief' Facebook site, the campaign significantly increased Simply Yours' online community and boosted 'talkability' among its primary target audience.
There were over 1000 new Facebook fans, with 16,000 page and 15,000 picture views. Over 100 entries were received, with the winning entry going on to be commercially produced by Simply Yours. The initiative sparked extensive online coverage and comment in fashion blogs.
Charlotte Bleasdale, online co-ordinator for Simply Yours, commented: "The Brief to Bra campaign was the first of its sort and a great success. It was well planned out at every stage and effectively monitored - with more mileage yet to come."
